Omare B B

We had a very comfortable stay at Omare B&B. Carmelina and Barbara are the most helpful and welcoming hosts, for whom nothing was too much trouble. The B&B is perfectly located in the centre of town, but the rooms quiet and secluded. Highly recommended.

This is a stellar recommendation for the Omare B&B in Agrigento. The proprietors are delightful, hospitable, and attentive. They have beautifully refurbished what I understand is a very old house. Omare is very quiet, clean, safe, and well-situated. The breakfasts are impressive: in the evening, they give you a choice of many delicious items that they bring you the next morning at the time you specify. Most of all, however, I was so touched by the many small and large kindnesses they showed me. I did not ask for any of them, but the owners were very perceptive about anticipating and adapting to my situation (I have a few issues due to having bad knees), offering them with graciousness and clearly happy at being able to help. I have been traveling for decades, mostly solo (as I was in Sicily) and generally preferring B&Bs to hotels. I can say without hesitation that Omare is one of the very best. It is a gem.

Wonderful B&B in Agrigento. The suite Amerigo Vespucci is highly recommended. If you are a family looking for a safe, comfortable and convenient B&B near all major sights, look no further! The suite has a kitchenette with all major appliances, a comfortable bed, private bathroom, TV room where the kids can stay and a private sauna, private veranda, private garden and private jacuzzi. The suite is step-free which is super convenient for prams and pushchairs (only stairs present are to go down to the jacuzzi and garden area). The B&B is super clean and you can even ask for their “baby service” for €10 a day which includes bottle warmer, cot and changing mat for the littlest ones. A rare gem of a stay in an incredible Sicilian city!
