We had a reservation booked with the Omesberger Gasthof six months in advance to our arrival in early July. The evening we arrived, we were told that our room was no longer available, and we were being relocated to the Grobenhof Gasthof, a short distance away. Arriving there, we were shown a very nice suite with kitchenette. However, there was a mucking box ( full of decomposing cow manure ) 15 metres from our room. The methane fumes emanating from the manure wafted into our suite, making it unbearable to breathe comfortably. Hopefully, by posting our experience on this post may make others beware and avoid a similar circumstance happening to them. Luckily we found a far superior accommodation a few kilometres away, the Pension Fleckhof in Neder.
