Omid Saldanha Hotel

Good location and overall a nice stay. I stayed in a twin room — the bathroom was spacious, the room itself not very big but comfortable enough for 1 or 2 people, ideal for short stays of up to 3 days. The air conditioner wasn't very strong and seemed to be centrally controlled, so it took a while to cool the room, especially during 40ºC weather. It also made some noise, but nothing too bothersome if you're fine with white noise. Staff were friendly and breakfast was of high quality.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. The room was cheap, and designed poorly. The soap bottles in the bathroom didn’t fit the holders they had them in, there was no tub, just a super cheaply put together glass shower, and the room was so small, which was fine for us but didn’t feel like luxury at all. The hair dryer on the wall was crooked and falling off and the handle on the faucet in the bathroom was so loose it kept popping off. Just very clear that someone didn’t put real energy into renovating this place. Felt very cheap and not worth the cost. There was also a frequent smell of sewage that would pass by every day or so. Not very “luxury” Staff were super friendly though and made up for most of the downsides of the actual hotel. Wouldn’t recommend tho, there’s probably plenty of better options.

Can't recommend the place. I had a room towards the main street and the window was broken and I had to hear the noise of the streets the whole day and night. The hotel didn't react and just told me they will repair it (they didn't). More horrible was that there were insects in my room and even then - no reaction! I even brought one of the bugs to the reception and they didn't care! Didn't even offered me another room and told me after I asked for another room, that they don't have any. So no, never ever I would recommend that "hotel". A real shame for each star they claim to have.
