Beautiful resort, and very attentive staff! We stayed 4 nights, and the first night our room was hot and the bed was super firm for our comfort. The morning after, I received a text asking about our stay. To which I replied stating the above issues, but otherwise everything has been great. They promptly had someone look at our a/ c, and had housekeeping put a mattress topper on our bed. Night two, we slept like babies! We enjoyed a day at the beach and a day at the pool, the breakfasts offered in the lobby bar were excellent and the dining at the restaurants on property were superb. Def looking forward to coming back here!
Overall a good stay, but there are some key points which could be improved. I want to thank Ms. Brook at the front desk, Ms. Gertie at the guest service and Ms. Nelly at the restaurant. The room is decent sized and not enough sugar for the coffee machine. The view is rectangular on the high floor. The food isn’t that great, but decent. The extra charge for delivery and mandatory gratuity is not listed for in room dining. The staff is very friendly and welcoming overall. The main pool is too warm and almost hot at night time. They can adjust the temperature for better comfort. Between 1 to 2 pm (maybe around 1:30 pm) on 07/28, there was a young man keep jumping/diving into the main pool with children inside the pool. It was very dangerous. I wanted to say something, but I thought it was the staff’s duty to let the person know not to do it. It happened next to the snow cone shop. Not one staff came forward to stop such dangerous behavior. The person ran fast and dived into the pool filled with children. I feel the hotel needs to pay attention to address this matter.
We stayed here in July for our 30th anniversary. We had already traveled earlier in the summer to Greece so we decided to do a local trip for our actual anniversary. The hotel is nice but a little dated for the prices charged. The resort was clean but not as clean as other resorts we have stayed at. On our second day maintenance sanded and painted some of the hallway where our room was located. After the sanding they never cleaned up the sanding dust. The dust was all over the floor and our door. We also felt that the price to stay at the Omni for 3 nights was very extreme. We paid almost $3,000 for a 3 night stay. For maybe another $1000 we could have flown and stayed at an all inclusive resort. We would probably not return buy had a decent time.
