Omni Austin Hotel

Staff is amazing! They always hold the doors for you which I love. Join as a member and you get extra benefits like free waters, coffees and drinks at the bar. The coffee shop is amazing and rarely has crazy lines. The restaurant and bar are great…especially for a hotel! Elevators are easy to get to lobby/room and back (no long rides). I’ve stayed here probably five times and this is my favorite place in Austin. Highly recommend!

What an amazing stay! Julie deserves a raise- she is incredible at her job, and she made us feel extremely special and welcomed! We came for my 40th birthday celebration, and it was truly memorable. They even have gluten free options in the restaurant and cafe. The staff is also knowledgeable on cross-contamination, which I find is rare when traveling, and it was truly appreciated. The only thing I would change is the fact that our room was only tidied once during our 4-night stay, even when we called down to ask someone to come up. Otherwise, a completely memorable and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this hotel!

I recently stayed at the Omni Austin Downtown for three nights. When I got to my room, there were cockroaches in the bathroom. The hotel compensated me with a drink coupon, allowing them to rectify the issue while I waited. After that, I didn't see any more roaches for the remainder of my stay. The ice maker on my floor didn't work, but I reported the issue, and it was quickly fixed. Lastly, the Chromecast functionality on the TV in my room did not work and was not fixed by checkout, despite being reported on the first day. Overall, the staff was great and attentive, and the location is excellent, but some of the details in the guest rooms could use improvement.
