We had a wonderful experience at the Omni Hotel! From the moment we arrived, Nevaeh provided excellent customer service with a warm and welcoming attitude that truly set the tone for our stay. She was friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. We had an early golf outing on Sunday at 6:00 AM, and everything was perfectly coordinated. Our driver who picked us up at 8:45 AM was prompt, professional, and courteous making for a smooth and enjoyable morning on the course. Later that Sunday morning, we stopped by Blue Ember, and our server young lady at 10:15 AM was fantastic attentive, friendly, and ensured we had a great experience. Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

The resort is beautiful. Really well maintained golf course. The room was huge. Several pools on site including an adults only which wasn't really monitored to keep teens out. Staff was great. Food options were limited in my opinion but everything we had was good. Overall a good place to stay in Palm Springs.

If I could give Zero stats I would!! I have stayed at Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage twice before and had wonderful experiences. Unfortunately, this recent visit has been an absolute disappointment from start. I booked two rooms using my American Express card, which offers early check-in at 12 PM when available. As a loyal guest with Omni priority, I also requested early check-in directly. Despite both affiliations, neither room was ready—not at 12 PM, 1 PM, or 2 PM. We were finally given our keys at 4:30 PM—past the posted check-in time—while standing in 113 °F heat with two young children needing a nap and my 82-year-old mother struggling in the desert sun. To make matters worse, on the day of our arrival the property’s only quality restaurant, bluEmber, was closed without prior notice—meaning we could not have a proper sit-down lunch in an indoor, air-conditioned space. We reluctantly went to the pool bar, only to find there are no servers or waitstaff. Guests must place their orders directly with the bartender. My two children wanted cheeseburgers—one with tomato and one with lettuce—and we were told they “do not do add-ons.” This is baffling. Anyone familiar with the hospitality industry knows that simple requests like lettuce or tomato should never be an issue. My mother and I ordered the Asian chicken salad to share and were given a tiny 3.5-inch plastic plate as a “sharing plate.” The lack of basic service and guest accommodation was astonishing. The rest of the stay was equally unacceptable. The property is overcrowded, with shockingly neglected rooms and amenities. The guest room carpet is filthy, damp, and unpleasant underfoot. The bathroom door frames are rotting and “repaired” with a coat of paint—hardly acceptable for a resort of this reputation. Lawn chairs and tables around the pool are dirty, with food and trash left behind. Puddles of stagnant water around the pool smell from mold and poor drainage. I even found leftover pizza under a poolside chair from the night before. The lazy river and water slide—hallmarks of this so-called family-friendly resort—are rusting and in alarming disrepair. The water in the lazy river has a yellow tint, and safety concerns are apparent. This stay has been so unacceptable that, despite having one more night booked, I am seriously considering checking out early and moving to another hotel for the remainder of my trip. For the price, the reputation, and the brand name, this experience is inexcusable. I would have expected far higher standards, and sadly, I will not be returning.
