Great Stay Right on the Oceanfront We had a wonderful time at this hotel! It’s located right on the oceanfront with a beautiful beach just steps away. The hotel was clean, and the pool area was really cool and relaxing. The breakfast was tasty with a good variety, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is absolutely top – perfect for beach lovers. We felt like we were the only non-Spanish-speaking guests, but that wasn’t a problem at all. Would definitely recommend!

Best Hotel in the province of Huelva. A must if you want to feel special, rest and eat well.

We booked this hotel to be close to the Donaña Park. The park was excellent and well worth a visit. The hotel was neither. It was also grossly overpriced. Its website is difficult to navigate, provides only basic details, and does not make it clear that the hotel provides absolutely minimal service for the time we booked (October 9th). Things we hated: - There are no drawers in the room (where is someone supposed to put their underwear?!). The hanging space is too short for longer items, e.g. dresses. Only reception can change the air con settings and the air con switches off at night. The bath is too small. There are no instructions in the room for the safe or the phone. There is no kettle or coffee machine in the room. - There is nothing open in the area in October and this is not made clear on the website. - Most staff do not speak English. (Yes, I realise that it's a Spanish hotel, but we cannot be the only international tourists.) - There was only one bar open and it was in the shop! (Why??) This bar closes when there's something on in the disco area (on Saturdays). The only route to this area is outside which is far from fun when it's wet and windy. - The only food available was the buffet which was NOT good. The plates were arranged in large piles and were often wet and dirty which is a serious risk for bacterial growth and food poisoning. The food was lukewarm or cold, even when the restaurant had just opened. Coffee is only available at breakfast. If you want a coffee after dinner you have to pay for one in the bar (although you can have wine and beer for free). - There are no robes for get to/from the spa from your room. Even nearly bald men must buy and wear an ON swim cap for the spa pool. Spa treatments are only available on Friday and Saturday and booking in advance was very very difficult. - The gym was too warm, the flooring was uneven and wet in places, and none of the staff knew how to use the equipment. - The soft cushion loungers at the bottom pool are dirty. The older normal loungers at the main pool were rusty and uncomfortable. Things that were ok: - Most of the staff tried to be helpful. - The beach. - The main pool. - How close the hotel is to the National Park. SERIOUSLY... At this time of the year, this hotel is absolutely nowhere near 4* yet it charges 5* prices. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!
