Two weeks ago 19 members of our family stayed here for our Bi-anual cousins reunion. This was the perfect place to stay, just out of town, plenty of room, lovely views and the 2 bed villa was perfect to use as a hub when we all wanted to gather together to eat etc. Our villa, nbr one, had gorgeous views of bush and river and we could have easily stayed a week. From start to finish, owner Andrew and Paul, manager, were so easy to deal with and bent over backwards to please us all. We all had a celebratory meal on the Saturday at Quails Restaurant which is on the property. My pork and plum sauce with veges was delicious and I highly recommend you go and try it. Andrew and his wife made and delivered to our hub, a selection of yummy pizzas and an array of desert treats on the Sunday night. We had good wifi and Sky is available too. Our bed was the best we've ever stayed in at any hotel on any of our holidays. Highly recommend One Burgess Hill for your stay in new plymouth.

Fantastic location We have absolutely loved our stay at One Burgess Hill - lovely welcome from Andrew - good kitchen utensils - lovely deep bath - shower with 'rain' shower head - awesome view/outlook over paddocks with cattle grazing - by the river so can hear the lovely gentle sound of the rapids - spacious unit - comfortable large bed We stayed 3 nights and loved the peaceful, quiet atmosphere 😌 Highly recommend for a relaxing stay on the outskirts of the city. (Watch out for Google Maps instructions, there's a new roundabout being built and Google will have you going kilometres out of the way!)

Fabulous location, had slight mold on the (black) curtains. Issues with the heat going up and down in the shower but overall a 9 out of 10. I would recommend bringing your own milk. Privacy issues in the room would be an easy fix with net curtains. Lovely greeting from Andrew? Highly recommend to a group or business. Value for money.
