YES there are rodents in the hotel. We were woken up by a mouse/rat going through our food in the room. The hotel is extremely basic which is fine. It wasn’t dirty but certainly not well kept. The windows couldn’t be opened and the room was very warm and the window was broken in parts. The bed sheets were fairly ragged. I wouldn’t recommend the place, don’t be fooled by cheap prices.
I don’t even know from which bad thing to start. Everything is a disaster here, broken windows, furniture, rats in rooms, service… We tried to file a complaint but staff doesn’t care. In the end we ware forced to switch hotels since we didnt want to sleep with broken windows and rats. They refused to refund so they basically stole our money. For case to be worse even booking decided not to refund us even with all proofs of this hell of accommodation. Lawsuit incoming from my side.
Rats ate my snacks while I was sleeping! This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. And I have a lot of experience staying in hotels all around the world. I have never experienced such a dirty, hazardous hotel in my life. After 1 night here I woke up to the chocolate from inside my suitcase, that I have brought from Australia had been eaten by rats! The chocolate had massive bite marks out of it, there was chocolate crumbs all over the bed, my suitcase and clothes. Clearly the rats had ran all over my things and spread crumbs everywhere while I was asleep. I was 4 months pregnant at the time which caused me so much stress as this is extremely dangerous for my unborn baby for me to be sleeping while rats run all over my bed and my clothes and eat the snacks out of my bag. It made me feel so dirty and gross. Seeing previous reviews that there was rat poison in the room, this makes me even more worried for the health of my baby as these poisons are often unsafe during pregnancy. When my partner reported this to the reception, they were not at all surprised to hear our food was eaten by rats in the room. We left immediately and found a new hotel close by. This was extremely difficult as it was over the Christmas period and availability was low. We complained to Booking.com and received a refund for the nights we didn't stay, but still refused to refund for the night we did stay. Claiming we stayed there. But clearly rats running around and eating our snacks while we sleep is a sufficient reason for a refund for that night, too. I'm still in the process of receiving a full refund from booking.com Do not stay here.
