I stayed here last week, when me and my partner did a little Spanish tour and stayed a few nights in Valencia. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The hotel is in a beautiful building, in a fantastic location, central within the town. Our room was very clean, a great size and I would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Valencia. The customer service was 10/10! Thank you for having us!
This hotel is in a terrific location, it’s safe, it has plenty of restaurants, and it has loads of other kinds of shops. The reception area is small but nice, the hallways are very nice, and the rooms are lovely. One thing about the hotel in general is that the lifts/elevators are quite old, they could definitively use new ones. My room was mostly all good, there were only a few things that could’ve been better. The socket above the desk was coming off the wall slightly, the wardrobe door could’ve open all the way because of the bedside table, and the wall in shower needs a door because the water goes outside and onto the ground. Also the TV in the room was quite old and hard to use. They were the only main things that I thought could’ve been better. The good things definitely outweighed the bad things overall. The bed was very and very comfortable, the bathroom was great, and the overall layout of the room was very good. The breakfast area was lovely, very well designed and laid out. The food at breakfast was great, and there was a very good range of foods. Overall, this was a great hotel and I enjoyed my stay very much. I would definitely stay here again.
I rarely leave reviews, but felt compelled after my experience at this hotel. On the surface, the room appears stylish and modern, but unfortunately that’s where the positives end. There are several fundamental issues that has made my stay quite frustrating. First, the WiFi didn’t work during my stay – which is quite unacceptable in this day and age, especially for a hotel in this price range. On top of that, the shower barely functioned at times – the water pressure was weak it was essentially a trickle. There were also basic amenities missing. No complimentary water was provided at check-in, which I’ve never experienced before. There wasn’t even an iron in the room – when I asked reception if one was available, I was met with a curt and unhelpful response and a flat no. While the room may look good in photos, there are clearly issues beneath the surface. The bathroom was particularly disappointing – the shower was grotty and in need of some attention. Overall, the amenities and service fell below expectations. Would not stay here again and definitely wouldn’t recommend it to others.
