One&Only Mandarina

If you’re looking for the most magical place in the world. Look no further. This was by far, one of the most enjoyable, relaxing, special vacations we have ever been on. We came to the one and only for a friends wedding that was held at the resort. We felt like royalty. The staff were so incredibly kind, accommodating, welcoming. I am truly blown away from this experience. The villas were gorgeous - we were spoiled with an upgraded room. Room 225 is special. It’s a little bit of a walk with the 71 steps but so worth It. We are so appreciative of our stay and the staff. We will go back and make more memories.

Perfect resort. We stayed in a villa in March. Service, cleanliness, food, and experience were exceptional. The staff truly go out of their way to accommodate and anticipate needs. The plunge pool (larger in the villas than in the treehouses) was heated to the most comfortable temperature and the outdoor shower was amazing. Evening turn downs made sleeping so comfortable. Whales and coati’s could be seen from the property and were my favorite part. The pools are low-key and beautiful. This is the perfect location for a relaxing getaway.

My husband and I stayed at One&Only Mandarina to celebrate our anniversary, and it was truly unforgettable. The resort is absolutely stunning—surrounded by nature, full of privacy, luxury, and thoughtful touches in every corner. Our villa was peaceful, beautiful, and made us feel completely at ease from the moment we arrived. Carlos, our driver from the airport, was warm and professional—he made us feel welcome right away. Once at the resort, Jonathan and Ángel were our dedicated hosts and truly went above and beyond. They were attentive every single day, checking in on us, making sure everything was perfect, and always doing so with kindness and genuine care. One of the most meaningful moments of our trip happened at the spa, where we had an incredible couple’s massage with Victoria and Francis. They created such a calming and healing atmosphere. At the end of the massage, they surprised us with a beautiful vow renewal ceremony—it was emotional, intimate, and something we’ll never forget. The way it was integrated into the experience made it feel so natural and heartfelt, like the universe conspired to make it all happen. Throughout our stay, we were lucky to meet many amazing people who made everything extra special. Ana, the lovely hostess at Alma; Juan Pablo and Carlos, the supervisor at Alma, were also fantastic. At Carao Pool, we were taken care of by Mónica, Javier, and Jorge, and for dinner at Carao, Jorge and César (an incredible sommelier) made the evening even more memorable. At Allora, Lupita. The team at the gym—Jonathan, Fernando, and David—were super friendly and brought great energy. Manuel and Andrés guided us during a peaceful horse ride, which was amazing; Fernanda from room service was always thoughtful, and Eder and Edgar were so helpful with our daily golf cart rides. This wasn’t just a luxury vacation—it was a deeply meaningful and soulful experience. We left feeling reconnected, grateful, and already looking forward to the day we return.
