Our stay at Oneta Resort was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family and treated to an experience that far exceeded expectations. Special thanks to Richard and Kat for their outstanding hospitality—your kindness and energy made our stay unforgettable. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The accommodation combined rustic charm with understated luxury—comfortable, serene, and always spotless. And the snorkeling and diving around the Astrolabe Reef? The best we’ve seen in Fiji. Nature lovers and ocean enthusiasts, this is your dream come true. We leave with full hearts, lasting memories, and the firm promise to return. Oneta Resort is a really special and beautiful place. Everything is so well done to make your stay as comfortable and wonderful as possible. Richard, staff and Carlo the pup are absolutely fantastic, we cannot say enough about how kind and wonderful they all are. One of my favorite part of our stay was Carlo, the pup, he is the sweetest dog ever!! He loves taking people on the ridge hike you can do above the resort, he will actually guide you so you don’t take a wrong turn. Brilliant! Unfortunately we only stayed 5 nights and trust that it was not enough time there. I recommend staying at least a week or more because there is so much diving to do!! Anne at the dive center is a real gem of a human. She was beyond patient with my novice skills as a new diver. I can’t recommend Anne at the dive center or Oneta enough. This place is 100% fantastic and we will be back. Thank you Richard, Anne, Liz & Martin. You definitely made a place memorable to everyone who stays there. We loved it!!!

We had the pleasure of staying at Oneta and were absolutely blown away—not just by the location, but by the warmth of the staff, manager and owners. We spent every evening enjoying meals and telling stories with other guests, the managers and the owners. We had 7 days of unforgettable diving with Milani, and nearly every dive included sharks! The crew on the boat made every day special with endless laughs. The manta ray cleaning station is also a must see. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and incredibly sad to be leaving our new found family. We cannot wait to return to see everyone again!!
