Really enjoyed my experience at Oniro Hotel. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet has a lovely selection of food and delicious home made desserts. Beautiful views from hotel. There’s a pool open until 6pm. Housekeeping is great. However, the hotel’s location is quite inconvenient as it is located quite remotely at the top of a big hill. It is far from the port and you need to walk a distance from the bus stop to get there, which is tiring when going uphill and it’s hot. The rooms have thin walls and so you don’t have too much privacy in terms of sound. You have to book the free hotel shuttle a day in advance, meaning it’s unlikely to access shuttle service on your first day and you have to use the expensive taxi instead. Everything in the room was clean except the mugs placed in room were a bit dusty.
I have been here since Thursday. Staff are Amazing, happy, friendly .location is out of town 15minutes or so but a shuttle bus is available during the day and a taxi back from town is about 15euro. The view from the hotel is breathtaking. If you want to come and chill this is the place. You can do trips if you want they are easily booked at reception.loving my time here.very chilled out.
Lovely newly renovated hotel with friendly staff and a view to die for. Restaurant food for lunch and dinner are excellent and decent prices. (Pork Gyros for 10 Euro) Would give 4.5 stars if possible. Only minor issues were: Lack of sunbeds for all guests when there is so much ample deck space for extras to be laid out. Had to ensure getting up early to secure a spot. Not ideal. The shuttle to and from town is a fantastic service however, no aircon in 40 degree heat was torture, why was it never used by either driver? Even when asked we were ignored with a silly grin and shrug. The bus used also needs new suspension and drivers educated how to drive smoothly. Hired our own ATV for the last 3 days and it was pure bliss with a smooth ride up the hill and the wind in our hair. Rooms were lovely if a little sparsely decorated but the showers are in desperate need of water pressure. Overall a lovely hotel though, we enjoyed our stay.
