Big sites, great facilities including a well equipped gym fairly new mining town, with the next 30 years of iron ore mining to come that will reap in excess of 35 billion tonnes. Lots of upgrade to the modest town have begun. Great fishing spot. Great boat ramp. Beach resort has a great restaurant. Recreation room and a bar.
We stayed at the Onslow Caravan Park and everything here was fantastic, from the bar staff to the food. each dish was a delight, full of flavor and beautifully presented (prawns and fish highly recommended) and the young lady at the bar was nice and professional. I have to say it's truly a special restaurant. Unfortunately, there was a group of loud, rude people near us who kept us from fully enjoying our dinner but of course that's not restaurant’s fault.
This place was great. Fantastic new amenities and beautifully maintained. We stayed in the newer part which was good. Lots to see and do around here well worth the drive in from the highway
