ONTO Tonalá Mexico City

Lovely modern apartment, staff were so friendly and great location for restaurants/bars/a close metro stop. Loved having a drinking water tap available in the room and the bed was really firm and comfortable. There was ongoing construction work outside (not their fault) so they provided us with earplugs but we didn't really need them as the work didn't continue into the night. Would definitely recommend.

The apartments are very well designed and well equipped. The decor is amazingly modern and beautiful. The staff was also very helpful and kind. My only problem was with the excessive street noise that was in the apartment. There is a club very close by which plays loud boom boom music almost to morning.The apartment had a white noise machine so you can put it on high volume to sleep. If you are someone who is sensitive to noise then this is not the place for you. Otherwise everything was great and the location was also good for public transport access.

The building is gorgeous. We were so excited about our stay and invested more into our accommodation because we needed the escape. Upon entering the room, we were amazed how beautiful it all is. However the night was horrible. The bed is so hard and uncomfortable we hardly slept and woke up with back pain. The first morning we voiced our concern and requested another room. Unfortunately there was nothing available and we didn't get a sense that the staff cared throughout our stay. For four nights we slept uncomfortably but powered through. We requested they waive the 5 mini bar purchases ($50) more so as a gesture they cared. No, instead they gaslit us saying there was no record of the bed-related complaint. I hardly ever leave reviews but need to highlight the beautiful packaging disguising poor customer service at Onto Tonalá for others to know. Do with it what you want.
