Onyria Quinta da Marinha Hotel

A very pleasant resort hotel. Excellent service but rooms are a little sparse. Only one chair and no shampoo or conditioner just multi purpose body wash. Avoid the lobby in the evening where a pianist plays dated music!

Basic hotel with basic room amenities , air conditioning in rooms doesn’t work. Towels and robes not always replaced when rooms cleaned. One day we had no water supply to the room and reception asked my wife and 18month old baby to use another room that our family were staying in, when they could have offered a room to stay in whilst they carried out repairs. Restaurant and bar staff were excellent, special mention for Guillermo who looked after us for breakfast and was very polite. Golf course and scenery was lovely and well kept.

All in all a nice hotel with good food, friendly staff and a very nice location. Only thing that i did not like was the rooms quality. We upgraded to a suite and unfortunately the room did not satisfy. It was not properly cleaned, there were many scratches and handprints on the furniture/mirrors, the bathroom lacked hygiene regarding the shower and bath. It was definitely not a luxury 5 star hotel suite. But other than that it was still a pleasant stay and ideal for golf enthusiasts.
