Onyx Luxury Budapest

Great place for our family of 4. 2 bed rooms with a small kitchen. Excellent breakfast in the morning. Convenient with nearby public transport - bus stop is 3 mins away and metro station is 10 mins away. It feels like a residential street and so is very quiet, for an excellent sleep. A few things note though are that there is a lot of dog walkers at night and it looks there is a lot of urine on the streets (looks like in general though for Budapest). Both bedrooms had two single beds pushed together, so there are no double beds. Staff are polite.

Good location but 12minutes walk from the train station, with bus stop nearby. New and modern. Our room are double storey with living on ground floor and 2 bedrooms upstairs. The bathroom can be better stock for a family room, as they only provide 2 tiny bottle of shampoo and body lotion and we had to ask for more. Breakfast are amazing.

Definitely not "luxury" nor really 4 stars. Immediately after check in we noticed that the toilet lid, as well as the shower head holder were both completely broken. No room change offered, and we had to wait until the next day for the issues to be fixed. Luckily the maintenance man did a great job and fixed it very fast so ups to him. But the whole situation made us question whether the toilet or the shower have even been cleaned before our arrival, because usually the staff would notice and report damage like this before the guest comes. The rooms are nice and spacious which is a plus, but unfortunately it wasn't clean– there were stains on bed sheets, towels and on the sofa, hair on the sink and under, shower not clean. The bathroom smelled dirty. For a 4 star hotel its also a bit strange that the reception closes at 11pm. Charging 20 euro per person to use a small jacuzzi and gym is also quite ridiculous as I have been in hotels where much bigger and better wellness areas were included in the price. Breakfast was good though. Overall woludn't come back there.
