We enjoyed our stay at Orchard hotel. The location was perfect for walking to the destinations we had in mind such as Chinatown, Union square, and the Ferry building. Even though check in wasn't until 3pm, front desk was able to let us check in since our room was available. This was much appreciated especially because we were traveling with a 14 month old. Or king bed room was spacious at 345 sq ft. Hotel provided us with a crib for the baby. Fridge and coffee maker in room. There are filtered water stations in the lobby and various floors of the building where you can use the provided glass carafe (or your own bottles) with cold water. We loved that since we didn't have to buy jugs of water as we usually do when on travel. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.
Large spacious, well equipped room. Comfortable bed. Good location. Just a few minutes walk to Union Square, shopping, Chinatown and Little Italy. Surrounded by restaurants
Very good hotel two blocks north of Union Square on cable car line. Room was spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable. Staff were amazing. Restaurant didn't seem to ever be open. Hmmm. Great location. Wish there was climate control in the room. Windows don't open and there is no fan. Sister hotel Orchard Park is down the street next to Chinatown Dragon Gate.
