Everything you’d expect from a decent hotel… big rooms, nice shower, good bed. The thing that made my stay was the staff. Everyone bent over backwards to make my stay brilliant. A particular special mention to the lovely Vincent… he really went the extra mile and made me feel super welcome. I will definitely be back 👍
Really pleased with this stay! Great value and hotel was previously run by a prestigious chain. Pool was nice and clean. The food was really good, much better than we have had at similar places, evening meal and breakfast. Air con on a hot weekend was lovely for sleeping! Close to Abingdon as well which was where we were going. Recommend!
Basic hotel but good value at £62 for the night on booking.com in school holidays. Has a pool and spa facilities like a sauna and steam room which I appreciated at this price point. Staff could be more attentive though - front desk empty both times I needed something and it wasn't as though I was trying to check in or check out at some bizarre time. Breakfast was solid.
