The facilities and the rooms were out dated(no air con and funny smell), however, a very spacious and comfy hotel. The reception was not as bad as others said, the restaurant staff were very helpful and nice. Kids will love the relatively large pool and the gym was a good size as well. This hotel cannot be reached by public transport and most everyone arrives by car, however they charge you parking fee(5 pounds) which I thought ridiculous. Other than that, a nice hotel for a family.
Hotel was very clean, lovely communal areas. The spa was great, and not too over crowded. The check in was quite long because there was only one receptionist, so we had a 10 minute wait. On the plus side we got an early check in, which was great. Rooms were large, bathroom was great and fully equipped. There weren't enough plug sockets though, and none beside the bed which wasn't good. Room service was good, and they catered to our requests which was excellent. Bed was comfy, staff were good but unorganized. Breakfast was nice but they were understaffed and there wasn't enough food. There was no bacon, eggs or bread when we arrived. Also there's one hot drinks machine to provide the whole restaurant, and they didn't offer a pot of tea to the table. Overall an OK experience, but they need more staff in order to provide a standard expected of the Hilton brand.
Great and polite service and fast dinner service too. Children eat free with adult order. Pool was nice, with covid regulations, need to book one h slot ones a day. Breakfast is variable with freshly baked pastries. Great location and price. Generous family double beds room. Garden it's nice, but again quite neglected. Room was unfortunately not freshly cleaned, it was full of dust. Another thing I would suggest for the hotel is to work towards upgrading their rooms. They are quite old, dated and not as luxury as the hotel standards of this type of hotel should be. Another thing I would add, that it's NOT very welcoming for the guests of the hotel to pay separately for parking. Paris Hilton would definitely will not find it "Hot"
