Original Sokos Hotel Seurahuone Kotka

Surprisingly there seas a mirror above our bed, but luckily I was with my wife so it was good fun. Room with Sauna was good, breakfast was OK. Definitely recommend. Will return again.

Nice and comfortable stay, would come again. Location is very good, and the hotel has three different restaurants on the premises. The rooms are recently renovated and feel fresh and modern, but the view from our window was quite surprising. The hotel has a parking garage with two levels, the upper one is a bit spacier and accessible from outside, the lower one has a little less space, but is accessible from inside the hotel. The upper level has a possibility to charge your electric car. Breakfast was satisfactory, food was well made and fresh. Only thing missing was salmon 🐟

Good hotel in the centre of Kotka. Service was excellent as always, restaurants are good, but the rooms are a little outdated. The hotel was full, but still everything worked fast and comfortable. I didn't hear any noise from the other rooms or hallway. We had dinner together with my coworkers at the restaurant and the service was very good and the food was excellent. Prices at the restaurant are little high, but still acceptable. It was quite strange that some drinks weren't offered at the restaurant, so needed to go to the bar to get those. We had quite big group eating, still all the meals were served fast and quite the same time. Staff were very nice and spoke good English. Also there were menus available in different languages. Car park is not optimal, but you can leave your car also outside, it's the same price. I had my view to inner yard, so nothing to see, just walls, but also there were no noise from there either. Bed was comfortable, but the shower could use some renovations. WiFi worked alright and mini bar was also available. If you visit Sokos hotels often I recommend to get the bonus card, it saves money back quite fast.
