Orla Copacabana Hotel

Great experience. Attentive service at a wonderful break fast. Room cleaning staff was effective. View on the 13th outdoor Terrence provided an unobstructed Panaramic view of Copacabana beach both in the day and night time. Will come back.

The location and staff are the highlight of this hotel. Beautiful views for the seaview rooms. The hotel does feel dated and in need of touching up in certain areas. The pool is very small and not adequate for a pool date but a beautiful spot to have a drink in the evening (though you'll need to get your drinks at the lobby bar, since I have yet to see the pool bar open). Overall very pleasant, good breakfast and great location.

Edit : I suspect that my credit card and debit card information were stolen from this place. I kept them in the room ( but not in the safe ), and three weeks later someone tried to buy 3000 euros of plane tickets from my American express, and 400 euros of stuff form internet, all form south america, close to Brazil. The only explanation is that cleaning people took pictures of my cards as the card never left the hotel room. Our room was really small with almost no light, and the noise of all the ACs. Do not recommend. Also the internet was really slow. Edit since apparently I had a different experience than other users .. seems like some customers had the exact same experience as me. So I guess it depends how lucky you are with your room. For me it was not worth the price at all.
