Osaka Excel Hotel Tokyu

We had a great stay at this hotel — definitely value for money! We chose it because of its strategic location right at the crossing point between the World Expo site and the main shopping district. It’s also very well connected, with easy access to both major metro lines, making it super convenient to get around the city. Highly recommend for both business and leisure travelers looking for comfort and convenience at a reasonable price. The bed is very comfortable that makes u feel like home. The breakfast buffet is surprisingly well served with variety of foods. Definitely enjoyed our 6nights here.

The hotel itself is at a convenient location and the amenities in the room are great! What I want to focus is the all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet. It is a bit pricey in Japanese standard, but it is definitely acceptable in America, especially when you look at the quality of the food. They serve both Western and Japanese cuisine. Everything is fresh and delicious. My favorite dish goes to the french toast. The Japanese way made it fluffy with the custard texture at the center. Once you top it with whipped cream, you won't need anything else. Highly recommended if you have an appetite for a big and tasty breakfast!

-Please be aware that the hotel entrance is on the 16 floor of a commercial building. -The room is decent, although I did not like its layout. -Also put in mind that the room is noisy, it is clear that there is no sound isolation in the building. You can clearly hear the rooms next to you and the foot steps. The street also is very loud, thus, do not expect a good night sleep. -They service only 2 bottles of water every day no matter the number of guests in the room. - Guests cannot have late check out like any other 4 stars hotel. It is obligatory to check out at 11am otherwise they will charge you. - If there are any additional charges on the room upon check out, you will have to pay it cash. They only accept cash because Credit Card takes fee. Even if you offer to pay the fees the visa will take, no it is not accepted. - The robes have a stinky smell.
