Osborne Hotel

Excellent hotel in a scenic location. It's at the top of a hill so, unless you really enjoy climbing, there's a couple of regular bus services and taxis back up from the town are around £6 plus tip. Beautiful views from the terrace bar. The food is really good. If you're not there on holiday don't expect fast service but enjoy and relax. The staff are great. Very helpful on reception. There are lots of facilities. Even an imperfect but fun putting green. Borrow the putters from reception. The hotel was busy but there's an overflow carpark so no struggle to park.

Lovely hotel. Room was superb. Staff were fantastic, couldn't fault the service. The food was also amazing. Would happily stay there again & recommend to anyone.

Love coming here with friends for a drink, it's probably one of the best spots in Torbay but the service is just dreadful. The bar is literally being ran by children with no hospitality experience whatsoever. The service is incredibly slow due to almost all the bar staff having little to no experience. They are referencing laminate sheets when making any drink that isn't a pint or a simple spirit and mixer. Last summer the service was dreadful and this summer it would appear that nothing has changed. If paying upwards of £10 for a cocktail you aren't just paying for the drink but for the craft as well. Please train your staff or hire staff with experience, it's becoming increasingly difficult to enjoy coming here.
