I am very thankful to have stayed at the Tru Hotel, The front end management is spectacular. Emily is one of the kindest and most accommodating individuals I have met in Wisconsin. The staff is so good at meeting the needs of the guests. The food is fine (standard continental), but the hotel itself is really beautiful. It's set up for great communal spaces. If you travel to Oshkosh, I would highly recommend the Tru Hotel.
So to start... Emily was amazing when we checked in!!! And after we when were hanging out in the 24hr rec hall! Then, the CLEANEST hotel I have ever stayed in!!! And we travel alot!! In the morning the breakfast staff were very patient and persistent to get the pancake machine to work for my 7yr old. She was so excited to pile on all of the goodies for her pancakes that were available! Check out was at noon!!!! Everything was so amazing my girls had a great time in the pool and playing games in the lobby(we brought cards and games not knowing they already had some available!). Being a Hilton rewards member, we were able to choose our room, it was the cherry on top!!! Hands down if you are staying in Oshkosh, stay at Tru by Hilton!! Yet again Emily deserves a raise!!!
BEWARE AC UNIT IS MOTION ACTIVATED. I returned to my room 3 different times and it’s 76 degrees. As well, throughout the night it kicks off so you wake up in a pool of sweat. I will not be returning. The bathroom had hair in it and the night stand had crumbs all over it as well. I do not recommend staying here if you want to sleep comfortably
