Osten Art Hotel

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Warm and professional staff, spotless and beautifully designed rooms, and a perfect location. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making the stay truly memorable. I would return without hesitation.

Very conflicted about our experience at this hotel. Pros: Location is great and walkable to main attractions, room is clean and spacious. Parking is convenient too, only if they get it right (see next section). Cons: 1) Security - there was never anyone at the front desk. Our room code was just an extension of the front door entrance code. Who’s to say someone else won’t be trying the same formula with another room door? 2) Parking (part 1) - you need a parking reservation to park in front of the hotel. We did inform them in our booking we’d be coming by car and require parking. When we arrived, there was nobody at the front desk and they told us over the phone that we had no parking reservation, so please park along the street. 3) Parking (part 2) - they tried to enter our room at 7.30am the next morning to get us to move our car parked along the street (because nobody was in the day before to help us park at the proper location). Later it turned out that cars parked along the street tend to get wheel-clamped after 7.30am (thankfully ours was not), so we appreciate the thought although trying to enter the room as we slept was…??? 4) Hotel is next to a pub with live music nightly. Think twice unless you fall asleep well to the thumping of bass and loud music. It went on late into the night on Friday btw. 5) Toilet has seen better days :’)

The only thing about this accommodation is the good location. The staff's attitude is a disaster, the breakfast is terrible. We received confirmation that the checkout is until 12:00, when we returned from the city at 11:00, our things from the room were cleaned without our consent. When we asked the hotel manager what it was, he said that unfortunately he had already rented our room to someone else from 12:00 and therefore they need to clean it. Another problem is the cleanliness of the rooms and the breakfast that they bring you at the exact hour, packed in a box to the room. The breakfast is cold and always the same without change. I do not recommend this hotel. We had an apartment for 3 people.
