Great and well cared for place. Well equipped and clean kitchen. Houses have everything you might need for a pleasant stay. Very quiet. Ideal for families. All the activities of the nearby campground Heide can be attended.

We rented a captain's house. When I initially booked, I was concerned because the reception desk was really difficult to reach by phone. A conversation with a member of staff, when I finally managed to get through to someone, clarified the situation. At the beginning of the season, staffing levels weren't 100%. Email contact worked well, though. The staff were always extremely polite. Processes like check-in, questions, bookings, etc. were straightforward. The campsite, the grounds, entertainment, and leisure activities leave nothing to be desired. You just have to study the map provided at reception, and you'll find something for everyone. Crafts, games, sports... There's a lot on offer. Ideal for children, sporty people, dogs and their owners ;) and also for those who want to relax and be lazy. Of course, there's wear and tear, where isn't there, but everything is always kept up to date. The mini-golf course is a case in point. It's old, but a new one is already being planned and is being worked on. At least that's what we were told. There's a snack bar and a restaurant on site. I think there's a second one somewhere, but we didn't go there. Definitely delicious and highly recommended. The public restrooms were clean. There's an Edeka supermarket on site, which sells the usual supermarket items. Our vacation home... a dream: large, bright, clean, modern, and well-equipped. High-quality furnishings. The only drawback is the beach, which is unfortunately very rocky, especially at the dog beach. The other areas looked better. Here, we were told that two years ago there was a major storm surge, which caused a lot of beach and sand to be lost. Our conclusion... we'll be back. A super beautiful complex, great staff, a place to feel at home.
