Amazing and quiet place. The staff are so professional and polite. The entire place is one story so there are no stairs or elevators except for inside rooms where some have stairs. The onsens outside are split for each gender as usual. The onsens were so nice with an outdoor and indoor one.
Clean, modern interior with excellent food and service. For two story room, bathroom and toilet are both located upstairs. Stairs are quite steep so avoid this room if you are travelling with elderly family member. Onsen is moderate size, with 4 showering station + 1 additional showering station which seems to be for people with difficulties sitting in low chair. Some hallways have low ceiling, so if you are taller than 180cm(or approx. 5'9") you may experience some discomfort. Food and service are excellent, and since all drinks and alcohols are included, this place might be best for people who simply wish to relax and enjoy.
The design of the rooms is a little too compact and I'm definitely not used to it. The ceiling was low, not a lot of free space to move around, and wallpapers are bleh. For a onsen hotel, the onsen was not too impressive. It's also in the middle of nowhere (maybe an onsen town?) so you can't really do anything besides sightseeing. The internet was extremly slow, which was a huge thumbs down for me. Bar didn't have a bartender. With those being said, everything else is pretty good. You get what you paid for. Privacy, service, view, this place has them. It's not the top-notch ryokan experience, but it's well above your average western style hotel stay. Food was excellent. I only recommend this place if you're going on an intimate trip with your partner (e.g. honeymoon) so the downsides I mentioned are no longer that important.
