Oulton Hall Hotel Spa & Golf Resort

We had a great one night stay to escape the mini heatwave. We and our 2 kids enjoyed the pool. We had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant. The children's menu was great as was the adult menu. Breakfast was really nice. Overall staff were welcoming and friendly. We live in Manchester and would definitely stay again.

Stayed here last weekend on a two night deal in room 174 with a beautiful setting of a wide garden to look out on. The staff, food and the outstanding cleanliness of the place is amazing. As is the beautiful decor of the hotel. The bar was busy with a wedding but Chris with the outstanding ladies kept everyone well watered throughout the evening Would highly recommend a visit and well differently be returning ourselves. Overall we enjoyed our stay- the grounds and hotel itself were beautiful and lovely to walk around. We had an incredible meal at the restaurant made even better by our waiter (Oliver) who was a delight! We then went for drinks at the champagne bar after which again was on par with some lovely cocktails. Unfortunately they did run out of martini glasses and cocktails in normal glasses doesn’t feel the same but still tasted nice regardless. We were slightly disappointed in the Spa as we found it similar to one you’d get at a nice gym (pool, hot tub, steam and sauna room) and was quite small however we didn’t get a treatment so can’t comment on that. We also found the room slightly dated with a window wouldn’t open as well as a view of the bins- the rest of the hotel and staff made up for this though.
