We loved our stay here. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Restaurant had had options of local flair. Beautiful pools close to the ocean and centrally located. It is not recommended to swim in the ocean here although a few surfers risked it. We didn’t miss that. We could sit on the beach and enjoy the much safer pool.

This resort is in the perfect location no matter where you want to go. It is close to the airport but you can't really hear the planes. They are updating rooms but even though our room was dated it was so clean!! The staff are all wonderful!! Everyone was friendly and helpful and made our stay that much more special! Food options are somewhat limited but everything we had was delicious!! Please note that although there is a beautiful beach view you can't swim here!! There is a swim beach not far down the road. So happy with our stay and can't wait to go back!

We knew we wanted to stay at this Outrigger for the central location, and that was a huge plus! We also enjoyed the pool area and the beach nearby. Mornings on the beach were a huge plus! We enjoyed the housekeeping services. Elsa cared for our room and did a fantastic job! The restaurants are tasty, and the happy hour at Shutters was a great deal and some of the best food we had on the island. We did not enjoy the surprise fees at check in. After a 24-hour travel day, we checked in at 11:30 pm and were asked to pay $350. They told us it was for parking, but I explained we prepaid parking. The front desk staff said “I don’t know it must be for other fees then” and offered no other explanation before asking me again to insert my card. I would think being upfront with the total amount is more valuable to this company than raking in customers with the mirage of a lower price just to hit them with a bill when they check in. Just beware that you will pay taxes and fees when you get there. We also felt that the room and grounds needs a little TLC. Stones missing here and there at the pool, pool chairs that are sinking, and one night several kids cut themselves on a piece of ventilation in the pool (which they did fix very quickly to their credit). If you want a nice room, book the upgraded room and know that some of the pool grounds will be a little dated and worn. Overall, it is a beautiful space that is centrally located where you’ll be taken care of. I would stay again for the right price knowing fees and taxes are calculated later!
