Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort

Feels Like Our Home in Oahu! This was our second time staying at the Outrigger Reef, and we already can’t wait to come back again! We truly love this place. The location is perfect — right next to the beach and within walking distance to most of the places we wanted to visit, like shops, restaurants, and local attractions. The amenities are great, and the staff really made our stay special. A big shoutout to Angela at the front desk, who went out of her way to make sure our family’s rooms were close together — it made things so much easier and more enjoyable for us. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and super helpful. Our room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels every day, and everything felt relaxed and comfortable from start to finish. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Oahu — we’ll definitely be back again!

I adored my stay here. I stayed here for 35 nights. The hotel is on the beach with a direct beach access, has a great restaurant that overlooks the ocean, and the pool area is large enough to accommodate a gazillion children without bothering the adults. It’s in a very walkable area with surf shops right across the street. 10/10 experience

This resort is in an unbeatable location—walking distance to all the great restaurants, shops, and the vibrant energy of Waikiki. We especially loved the beach right at the resort. It does get busy at sunset and is especially packed on fireworks nights, but the atmosphere is amazing. Having Monkeypod restaurant on-site was a huge bonus—it was outstanding. The staff throughout the resort were warm, friendly, and always ready to help. The excursion office on the ground floor was a great resource for planning trips and arranging transportation. Parking is valet-only and pricey, so it’s worth considering how often you’ll use a car. We skipped the rental car and didn’t miss it at all. The pool area was fantastic, and in the evenings, we enjoyed live music drifting in from nearby restaurants, which added to the laid-back, tropical vibe. Overall, this is a wonderful spot for families to enjoy Honolulu and Waikiki—great amenities, perfect location, and a truly relaxing experience.
