We stayed here as a family, in the house that has three bedrooms. The rooms were large and comfortable. The house itself was like a museum with ample querky decor. The kids enjoyed exploring the house as if they were treasure hunters. The property itself is situated in a really picturesque village close to the Douro Valley. The couple who hosted were so lovely and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of continental options from fruit to cereal to freshly baked cakes. They also gave us some homemade jam as a gift. The pool was great too. The ONLY downside was that the shower screens in two bathrooms were broken I wouldn't hesitate to come and stay again. Thank you!

Beautiful house with some history, very nice and friendly host and an amazing breakfast (including delicious freshly baked cakes). Quiet location, game room, common room available. We did not have the pool at the main house, you have to do some walking to get there, but that's no problem. I can recommend.

The true Douro Village Living experience. The most incredible hosts. Family traditional delicious meals. Lodging facilities as close as possible to meet the requirements of "Other Times"… without forgetting nowdays comfort needs.
