Ovolo Central

We had a wonderful stay at the Ovolo last week. We bought the Luxury Escape package which included breakfast and dinner. Service was excellent, food was great. I don't normally eat Indian food, especially when it's vegetarian, but the Indian dinner we had was divine and highly recommended. Try and ask for a higher floor as we were on level 6 and we could (just) hear the music from the bars in LKF. The free washer and dryer was very useful. Location is great, however, walking there from Central MTR can be a nightmare. I'd recommend asking the hotel for clear directions so you don't end up dragging your luggage up the steep cobbled streets.

Amazing Staff at the front desk, house keeping lady was super nice. This trip was part work part vacation for me the cleaning lady was accoomadating to come clean btw my calls. Carlton the front desk manager took care of me from check in till check out, asking how the room is every time I walk by him. It could also be the case that my toilet was clogged with some human waste in it when I checked in... Whahaahahahahaha. But besides that it was a fantastic stay. Service made it up for the room quality. Well done Carlton and team!

Stayed for 2 nights. Staff we very friendly and attentive but just couldn’t sleep due to the noise of music from night club and bars nearby which went on to early morning hours even during the week. Room was comfortable though a few niggles e.g safe needed fixing on arrival, coffee machine didn’t work, only Chinese tv channels worked and bathroom towels - some changed but not replaced. The location was great for exploring on foot though, you just need to be a heavy sleeper!
