Ovolo Sydney Woolloomooloo a Wyndham Hotel

Just wanted to say that we had Jade ant the front desk for our check in and she was outstanding. I don’t know what you’re paying her but she deserves more. Probably the best check in service we have received and we travel a lot. Location is great. Room was clean and functional. Valet parking at $95/day is a bit high. You can park a 5 min walk away for $35/day. Otherwise very worthwhile

This hotel is NOT a 5 star luxury hotel!!!! The furniture in their nicest room, the ultraroo and in the loft suites, are so stained and worn that I would not sit on them. The room was also dirty when we arrived… used silverware on the counter which was sticky. Desk was also sticky from not being cleaned. Floor had hair and dust bunnies all over the first floor of the loft. Carpets are very stained too … dare not to walk around without shoes. On a positive note, bed was comfortable, staff was very helpful and friendly, great location for the art museum and botanical gardens. Breakfast was good but does not change so just be mindful if you have a long stay. This is very high priced for the very worn and dirty accommodations.

Extremely Disappointing – The Worst Hilton Experience Ever As a long-time Hilton Diamond member, this was by far my most disappointing stay with the Hilton group. From the moment I checked in, there was absolutely no recognition of my Diamond status — no room upgrade, no welcome drink, and not even a basic welcome card. Housekeeping was inconsistent and well below Hilton standards. Each day the room was cleaned differently, and honestly, not thoroughly — I’d rate cleanliness at best a 3 out of 10. The most unacceptable part of the stay was the noise. There was a wedding event happening on the floor below my room, and the noise was unbearable. It was louder than being out on the street. I couldn’t rest or work in peace. Overall, this hotel does not live up to the Hilton brand or its promises to loyal members. I would strongly advise against staying here.
