OYO Newquay Beach Hotel

We booked a compact sea view room with balcony. It was very clean and had a comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly, parking was £10, gor 24hrs which was good for the area. Walking distance to lots.

Had a wonderful stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure I felt welcome. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. Great hospitality all around – would definitely come back!

The staff were great. Very helpful and polite. The hotel is a hot mess though. The carpets everywhere are dirty. The carpet in our rooms (2 rooms) were dirty. The bathroom was dirty, moldy shower, the sink leaked, the shower didn't drain, the faucet had mold around the faucet rod and just dirty. We had 2 bugs on our last day. As soon as we saw the state of our rooms immediately we looked for new accommodation elsewhere but, everything was sold out. I cleaned as much as I could, for the 3 nights we were staying and had the "Don't disturb" sign out. I asked, in general, if they had any more rooms but, they said they were sold out. And to be fair to the front desk, because they said they were sold out as was other accommodations in the area, I did not tell the staff that we were unhappy until we checked out. The reason for this is I trust my cleaning skills and didn't want them to bring in the same "cleaning crew". Apparently, new staff has been brought in to bring the hotel up to standards. It will require full gut for that to happen. The staff though were very kind and wish them the best of luck. We hope they will be able to bring it up from a 1 star hotel to the 4 star they claim on their website.
