This resort is lovely. Sure a few rooms had paint chips and marks due to age, but the decor and service, location and amenities were great. We were a few nights in the terrace rooms and 1 night in the penthouse suite as a treat. The rooms were clean and relaxing. Dinner at the restaurant was lovely also.
Such a great location with amazing amenities. The service and staff were 100% welcoming and helpful. Our room was OK. It was a bit musty and the heater did take quite some time to warm up. The kitchen wasn’t as clean as we would have expected - and the microwave was filthy, but the rest of the room was immaculate. The grounds were so pleasant to walk through and the beach is right there! Dinner was a bit average, but breakfast was really enjoyable.
Beds are very hard and the rooms are in need of a refurbishment, smells very musty. Had an 80s Hamilton Island vibe, the view was terrible for $500 a night. Restaurant for dinner was delicious, however we were forgotten about, we started seeing meals around us coming out until one of the staff realised we were still sitting 50 minutes later with no food, they did come over and apologise and offered the next drinks on the resort. Buffet breakfast was delicious don’t agree with having to pay for a cappuccino on top of the breakfast price but seems to be the thing these days. Check out quick and easy Would definitely stay again when the rooms have been upgraded.
