Palace Hotel Polom

An average 3 star hotel - but make your own opinion Positives: - Rooms are very clean - staff is polite - good location - near the railway station and the city centre - bed matras quite ok - rooms and other spaces decently furnished - steam shower with massage function Negatives: - i had a deluxe room, so the standard one may be less appealing comparing the pictures - see the view out of the window - are they serious? 90% green wall 10% view - the wifi usability and speed is a joke - so is the breakfast selection and quality (eggs dried out and the only other option is sausages, everything cold, low quality foods, poor selection) - one elevator not functioning and i got stuck for a moment in the second one - makes you wonder about the investments in the hotel like do they replace filters on Airconditioning??

For Korean tourist only. We were told that they won't serve us dinner because we are not Koreans. Stairs without ramp if you want to reach reception and elevators to the rooms. Very inconvenient for buggies and disabled persons. Staff won't offer you any help. Rooms are very small and look much better in photos than in reality. Hotel itself looks quite tacky.

Absolutely terrible meal at the hotel restaurant. We went with a group and vegan menu was deep fried tofu with no spices or sauce, dried rice and lettuce with no dressing or oil. Pickle was good.
