I had a very pleasant stay with my Family at Hotel Palace and Spa in Mitrovica. The hotel room was excellent – modern, clean, and very comfortable. The service was outstanding, both at the reception and in the spa area – always friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned daily and always kept spotless. The food was very good and offered a nice variety. The hotel is also easy to reach. Overall, a highly recommended experience!
We stayed here with my family. Everything was excellent. Service is impeccable. Rooms are very clean. Staff very friendly. We definitely coming back.
Me and my husband stayed here during or first visit to Kosovo since a friend was getting married. I don’t know who gave this hotel 5 stars but it definitely isn’t. At first look it looks very luxurious and modern, but there were things during our whole stay that weren’t good. We can start with the good thing first, as mentioned the interior is nice. Also the best part about the hotel was the restaurant staff and the food items you ordered from the menu. Great service. Now to the bad parts. Before our stay I emailed with two questions; if I could pay by card and get breakfast on the go one of the mornings because I was going to a wedding. Regarding the payment option, they answered ”they prefer cash”. When someone says prefer, that means there’s a choice. My friend that helped me check in, who’s from Kosovo, made it possible for me to pay by card at last. Also on the website I saw afterwards it says that cash, credit card and debit card are accepted. Regarding the breakfast, my friend also confirmed this during the check in where the receptionist said that I’m getting a sandwich and there are to go cups in the room for a cup of coffee. Despite this when I got down to the reception during the morning, the guy said that he can’t fix a sandwich for me because he’s working alone and the restaurant opens later. Also there were no cups in the room. However the receptionists apologized multiple times and extended our check out for free as compensation. During the check in process we only got one card and asked for a second one. I felt like that wasn’t appreciated from the receptionist. My friend helped me during the whole check in, and I’m glad for that because it wasn’t smooth. I felt unwelcome. Paying by card or getting two room keys shouldn’t be a discussion at a ”5 star hotel” Overall cleanliness of the hotel is ok, but the hairdryer in our room had small hairs on it. During breakfast, there were shells in the fried eggs and omelette some of the mornings. An unwelcome crunch. To sum it up, I wouldn’t say that this is a 5 star hotel, but according to my friend it’s one of the better in the area.
