Great location and a great hotel! Lovely pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub. Rooms were very comfortable. I had the streudel in the cafe and it was delicious! Afternoon complimentary sparkling/still water was a nice touch
Excellent hotel! I stayed three nights. The room was spacious, nice and clean. The room was tidied daily, and I appreciated the gesture of daily restocking the complimentary water bottles. The breakfast was really good with a large variery of hot and cold dishes. Well equipped spa/relax area with swimming pool, jacuzzi and two different saunas. My only objection to this hotel was that the room had a very heavy scent of perfume.
I specially narrowed down my search of hotels to ones that have air conditioning as it was expected to be a very warm weekend. When I arrived late in the evening my room was very warm at 75 degrees (24C). After having the AC on for about an hour with no change I went down to the front desk. They said maintenance was out for the evening but they would look at it the next day. They gave me a fan and told me to open the window in the meantime. While this was a decent solution, this was NOT AC. In addition, my room was facing the road and it was VERY noisy all night. The next day I went down and asked again about the AC and they said they'd have maintenance in to look at it. When I came back from exploring 5 or so hours later, the AC was fixed and they left a complimentary bottle of wine. That was nice of them but honestly I'm still a little upset because this place was NOT at all cheap. I could have gotten a room elsewhere that didn't advertise AC for half the price. The hotel staff did try to fix the issue but I feel like they could have moved me to a different room that first evening. The rest of the stay went well once my AC was working. The room was nice enough, the location was great, the staff were nice, the beds were very comfy, the AC was cold and quiet once it worked, and the shower and bathroom were nice. If I were to visit again I'd possibly stay here again but only if they could verify beforehand that the AC worked.
