This is a great hotel, and you will enjoy your stay here. To address items that other reviewers have mentioned: Location: It’s about a 5 min walk up to the town centre. There is a supermarket right next door. I found its location ideal. Rooms: I stayed in May/June and had no problem with the room temperature. My view was of the mountains, which were majestic. Staff: I found the staff friendly and helpful, as you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Facilities: The pool was delightful. The bike room was perfect (with racks, tools, cleaning equipment, and a door to the front path). The bar was convenient and well stocked in the Italian way with plenty of free snacks. Meals: dinner and breakfast were included in our tariff. They were superb. Loved them every day. I was slightly taken aback by having to pay for water at the dinner table, but that’s probably also just an Italy thing.

Stayed here with my family and my friends family. The service was amazing, especially the hotel-gondola transfer. Driver came very fast and the ride was smooth. In the hotel I liked the pool table and the pool to swim in (water temperature was perfect). Room service was also immaculate. The location of the hotel is also good. It's close to the city center and to the grocery store. I recommend staying here for everyone who came to Bormio with their families for a vacation!😊

The location is about a 10 minute walk and the lobby looks nice but that’s about it. No air conditioning in rooms which is generally fine but the rooms have no windows and seem to trap heat. It makes it very uncomfortable to sleep. You can see past reviewers taking about this. Also, no iron in rooms. WiFi is snail speed slow. Staff is not personable… for instance, we were on our honeymoon and said in our stay but got the room facing construction. maybe all of these things are fine but this is a 4 star hotel. I expect it to be nicer. There are plenty of other options in the area… I recommend choosing one of the others.
