This is a special place! Rooms are big and comfortable, clean and nice beds! Perfectly located, friendly staff! I became ill while on tour and they were all very, very kind! They arranged a nonsmoking taxi driver for our long ride to Granada!
We were looking forward to a visit in a five star hotel but really disappointed. The room was OK. The bathroom had mold. The bar was an absolute disaster maybe worth 1 star. The rooftop terrace was also disastrous. The pool area was run down. The only good thing was we had a decent rate. In our view this qualifies for 3 stars but not more. There are way better places in Ubeda. Our favorite is the Parador.
The pool area is TOTALLY RUNDOWN and dirty . I would be ashamed to offer this to a hotel guest.After my husband mentioned to the Waitress to remove the wilted flowers , they took them later of the table. There are lots of black mold in the shower . Not enough staff . The bar and lunch area have no charm at all .If you arrive and there is no space to park the car in front of the hotel to check in, you have to drive around Ubeda. In our book, this is definitely no 5 star rather a 4 star or less.
