We had such a wonderful stay at this charming boutique hotel in Belém—one of the true highlights of our trip. The neighborhood is beautiful, full of history, and so easy to explore. We loved being able to walk to nearby sights and try the great local restaurants just steps away. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The hotel has a warm, intimate feel, and every detail was so thoughtfully done. It really felt like a home away from home. A special thank you to Marcos, the General Manager, who was incredibly kind and hospitable. He truly went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, and we appreciated his personal touch so much. And we have to mention the breakfast—absolutely amazing! It was such a treat to start each morning with a delicious, beautifully presented meal in such a lovely setting. This was more than just a place to stay—it was part of what made our trip so memorable. We’re already talking about coming back and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a special, welcoming place to stay in Lisbon.
Hotel was lovely as was the service but as another reviewer mentioned it’s more of a 4-star than what you would expect of a 5-star hotel. All the staff were pleasant and helpful but kind of struggled in the food and beverage department. A few struggled with English and service was nonexistent poolside. Location is quiet and far from the centre but it is about 7-18€ Uber/Bolt ride away (20-30 minute drive). Tram is convenient around the corner and is approximately 30-40 minutes away and can get really packed. All in all I enjoyed my stay and would recommend but advise to lower expectations a bit.
Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here! 1. No concept of room service. Rooms don’t get cleaned, they say there is a turn down service but when we walk in to our room at night they claim they forgot to do it - 3 nights in a row. 2. We stayed at room S03 and it stinks like crazy. 3. Breakfast buffet had very limited options. 4. Kids pool is a bathtub. 5. How on earth can a hotel not have restaurants open on a weekday and they except us to eat somewhere else? We are traveling with 3 young kids and paying a fortune for 2 rooms but the service is below a 2 star hotel!
