Everything about this property was magical! We loved being just up the hill from the main plaza – it was a bit of a walk, but SO worth it to get the views of the city and a peaceful setting to come back to each night. The breakfast was amazing, and the staff was very friendly. The decor and overall ambiance of the property was simply stunning. I would definitely stay here again!
Such a beautiful place and what an enjoyable and memorable stay. The location is central but out of the way if traffic and crowd. You can walk to the main square in 10 minutes through quaint and picturesque steep cobblestone floored alleys. The views of city from the rooms, cute backyard with lamas grazing, tasteful lobby and rooms. Overall, it was my favorite stay in Peru.
For the price and what you receive in return, it should be labeled a 3-star hotel. The staff were very nice and attentive but the room was not worth $400 a night. BEWARE: The terrace outside the junior room with the view has no privacy—it’s a public terrace. Opening the curtains leaves you exposed to everyone who passes by and it’s a direct view to our bed! It should be closed off to the public or you should let it be known in the website that the terrace is not private. Because of that, we kept the curtains closed and could not enjoy the beautiful view that we paid for. Also the breakfast is cold because they don’t leave the warmers on underneath. If it weren’t for the friendly staff, the experience would be far worse!
