I went there for dinner at their rooftop restaurant. It offers amazing views on the old medina of Fes. The hotel used to be the private residence of a Fassi family and was turned into a hotel in 2012. The owners kepts some of the original architecture elements. This gives the property an authentic look. If you go there make sure to explore the library and the patio in the ground floor. They will transport you in time. The staff of the hotel was very friendly.

The staff here are some of the most friendly and hospitable people that I've ever met. When we had to leave a nearby Riad before checking in due to the rude and threatening behavior of the staff, we walked here in the pouring rain and they let us stay in the lobby to dry off and figure out what we were going to do. They didn't have a room that would fit our family, but they were so accommodating trying to find an arrangement that would work. Even though we couldn't stay, we did enjoy the restaurant and it was incredible. Probably the best food we had in our entire trip in Morocco. Cannot be more grateful for their hospitality and kindness.

I was very disappointed with several aspects of our stay. The gym closes at 9 PM, which is far too early for guests who want to work out after dinner. There was a persistent musty smell in the room, which was unpleasant. Despite being listed, there was no hair salon, no spa, and no sauna available. I ordered a drink from the menu, and they didn’t have it. My wife also ordered a wine that was listed, and they didn’t have that either. The WiFi was extremely unreliable — constantly going in and out, which made it difficult to stay connected. This experience did not meet the expectations set by the hotel’s description.
