Palais Mehdi

Palais Mehdi is simply a garden of paradise. The location is in an area of low traffic, so it feels like an oasis of serenity. The rooms are large and luxurious. The garden and pool add to the beauty of the stunning Moroccan architecture. There is a market and services within walking distance, and the Palmeraie conference center is only 1600m away. The hotel restaurant has excellent dishes, including Moroccan specialties. Breakfast is included. Best of all, the staff are extremely accommodating, helpful, and friendly. They really make you feel at home.

What a beautiful beautiful hotel ! We stayed here when we were in Marrakesh and we loved our stay. The hotel is 20 minutes drive from the airport and from the Medina. Each suite is decorated beautifully and are huge. They also give you the option to have breakfast in your suite which was continental or traditional Marrakesh. The staff were lovely and very hospitable and they booked us taxi whenever we requested. The pool and property grounds were so well maintained. We will definitely come back again as we had such a relaxed stay.

Worst stay ever We arrived the first night late around midnight, we went to our room directly.. it was disgusting, old over used furniture, rugs are black dirty! Wood furniture all scratched! The lighting of the bathroom wasn’t working! Next day they changed our room to ( a bit and not much) cleaner room! Which wasn’t much better! All the photos of this place doesn’t reflect the actual reality! The room towels looked old and felt rough on the skin. The service, I’m not sure what to say! You rarely see workers there to serve you! We needed to call 2-3 times for them to answer the phone. Breakfast options were extremely limited and not good. The reception lady wasn’t professional or nice, we used the card for the tourist city tax, although the transection was successful and I received a massage and the money was deducted from my account, she refused and said she didn’t receive the money and wanted a cash amount!!!! She was shouting and the issue wasn’t solved till we asked for her manager! The location was also bad, far from every activity, and it was very difficult to find taxis ( took us daily 30-40 min to find a car!) Nerve recommending such a place.
