Palapas Ventana

Great spearfishing experience. I brought my eight-year-old daughter with me and wanted something fairly tame, so they curated a shore dive that was perfect. Ask for Pachon! Terrific guide and just a really nice guy too.

We spent 2 weeks at Palapas Ventana and loved every part of it. The casitas are very comfortable, with a large terrace to dry all our sport gear. The beds are nice and hard, not too hard; the cleaning staff comes in daily and is so nice. Food is amazing, can't say enough about the food. Great presentation and taste. The area is quiet, and has a great coffee shop down the street. Parking is available right next to the casita. Tim and his staff are very knowledgeable, and can help you with any inquiries. We did a Cerralvo boat tour, whale watching and snorkeling; also highly recommended. For kite/wing sports, the beach is very nice but has some reefs when you walk in; we always took our car to a different spot anyway to try them all, but could come back to the Palapas Ventana beach from a downwind, being mindful of the reef.

It is a great place for many types of fishing. Huge variety of  sea life! Sweet sunrises and sunsets. The true ethnic Mexican style of the entire resort. Casitas/cabanas are all customized  with every detail being craftsman made. And yes, their cooking was great. Management personnel was helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.
