I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Palazzo Bibbi. The building is brand new and beautifully renovated, spotlessly clean, and just a stone’s throw from the train station – perfect for travellers. I stayed in the business suite on the second floor, which featured a super comfortable king-size bed with crisp, fresh linen and every amenity you could possibly need. The morning started perfectly with a delicious breakfast: fresh ham and cheese toasties, bergamot juice freshly squeezed, and plenty more to enjoy. The whole place feels welcoming, modern, and thoughtfully designed – a real gem in Reggio Calabria.
We stayed at Palazzo Bibbi for a week (Group of 6, using 3 rooms) and we can definitely say that it was the best accommodation during our multi-city Italian vacation. Service: Francesco was our concierge/host, and from day one, he made our family feel welcome. We will miss his professionalism, attention to detail, and charismatic personality; Talking to him at breakfast every morning was definitely a highlight of our stay. They should rename the hotel Palazzo di Francesco! Facility: This hotel although not advertised as a "boutique hotel" felt like it was taken from a fairy tale. Small, well decorated, comfortable & near everything. Walking into Palazzo Bibbi felt like a high-end experience, with a fresh scent in every room, comfortable beds and large bathrooms. Their electronic key system is very safe and worked every time, however they also provide physical keys if needed. Price/Location: The pricing for August was very reasonable and worth every cent, don't be fooled by the graffiti in the nearby streets, Palazzo is definitely a hidden gem in Reggio Calabria. It's walking distance to Reggio's promenade and 2 blocks away from Corso Garibaldi (which is the main street for restaurants and shopping in Reggio). A+ stay. We are making plans to come back as soon as possible!
Wonderful small hotel, cosy and quiet, with excellent, helpful and friendly staff, very clean and modern, with huge beds. Breakfast is very nice, with a selection of fresh fruit and bakery. I would stay there again.
