Palazzo del Giglio

This was the second time in Venice and the location of the hotel was close to the most popular historical places. The staff was polite and the treats were very nice. The in-room breakfast service was also convenient!

I highly recommend this hotel, it is less than 10 minutes to St. Marks Square and the Rialto Bridge. Staff are helpful and accommodating. We also enjoyed having the breakfast brought to us every morning, very convenient. Staying here felt like living the venetian way, you have your living room, dining and kitchen with it’s ancient venetian design. It is old but well maintained, the room is clean. The bathroom is clean and modern. If you want to feel authentic venetian charm and living, definitely stay in this 4 star hotel.

I arrived in a room just for me and there were 2 twin beds with one adjoining room with another twin bed. The entrance was this horrible living room/dining room that smelled old and moldy. I asked to be changed to a room with one double bed only and they told me that they had no one to prepare a room for me so I should have specified it in the reservation. It was all so old and so dusty with brocade fabrics from last century, that I just left and found a clean wonderful place for less I definitely do not recommend it
