Palazzo della Fontana

A small and lovely hotel that is incredibly central and where the staff was more than helpful; especially cordial and welcoming. Rooms were well appointed and quiet, breakfast was delicious with a good range of options and the lady serving was very nice and attentive. The roof terrace was perfect for an aperitivo at sunset. Highly recommend this hotel which was also reasonably priced. Top.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Palazzo della Fontana, and it was an exceptional experience.The location is excellent, offering easy access to the city's main attractions. The hotel itself is impeccably clean, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.One of the highlights of our stay was the beautiful terrace restaurant. We enjoyed a delightful glass of Franciacorta in a wonderfully pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast was also fantastic, with a variety of delicious options and very attentive staff.Although the price is on the higher side, the overall experience at Palazzo della Fontana is worth every penny. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay.

Stayed one night for business. The hotel has an amazing location in the city center. You can easily walk everywhere and they also have an affiliation for a parking garage 5 minutes walking distance. The rooms are simple but tastefully furnished though I’d use one kind/color hangers since there were many of different material, definitely could do better there. Overall I’d stay here again and definitely consider it for my next time in Matera.
