Can't say enough good things about Palazzo Lorenzo. It's beautiful, well kept, clean, and picture perfect. I have to admit I was being a bit of a hotel snob during our search for where to stay for this trip, and my expectations were met and way exceeded. It was 95 degrees F during our stay, and we didn't find the location to be an issue at all. Super convenient to multiple bus stops, and it was a nice, safe, 20 min walk home from central Florence at night when it got cooler out (I'm 4'11 and very sensitive to safety, so if I felt safe, anyone would). Wish we were able to blast the AC a bit more, but other than that, would recommend this hotel to anyone :)

Lovely hotel. Rooms are nice and clean. They are bigger than expected and the bathrooms are lovely! It's close enough to the centre (about a 15/20 mins walk) so that's lovely. It's quiet because it's a touch away from the hustle and bustle. The breakfast is really good. All the coffee is hand made for you and is of a high quality! Really sets you up for the day. I would recommend staying here. There is also a spa and a gym. Spa is small and nice. You need to book a slot at reception but it's super easy. I didn't visit the gym. All in, yes. Will return.

Lovely service, very clean. No vent in bathrooms, would get very muggy and hot. Air conditioner in room blew nice cold air, but location of it poor (under window, blew straight up) so it didn’t cool the whole room, and we felt the window zapped a lot of the cold before it got to us. Beds were not comfortable, and pillows very flat. Rooms themselves were fairly small. Breakfast was ok, had to ask for cappuccinos and weren’t approached for the offer. Spa was also ok, but one area was broken during our visit. Basically just a sauna and two hot tubs. It is a 50 min session, must pay for more visits if desired.
